By creating an account or using REM, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Teranga AI.

REM is a goal-execution and AI coaching platform for personal and professional use. You agree to use it lawfully and in good faith. You may not: use REM to harm, harass, or deceive others; attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or extract the underlying AI systems or prompts; resell or redistribute access to the platform; use automated means to access the platform in a way that damages its infrastructure; or upload content that is illegal, abusive, or violates third-party rights.

You own all goals, journal entries, and data you create in REM. We do not claim ownership of your content. By using the platform, you grant Teranga AI a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to process your content solely to provide the service to you. This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account.

REM provides AI-generated insights, coaching, and recommendations. This is not a substitute for professional advice - medical, psychological, legal, financial, or otherwise. REM is a thinking tool, not a therapist, doctor, or lawyer. Do not make significant life decisions based solely on AI output. Use your own judgment.

REM, its interface, underlying AI orchestration architecture, prompts, and design are the intellectual property of Teranga AI. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent. The name "REM", the Teranga AI brand, and associated marks are protected.

Paid tiers are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are displayed at checkout. Payment is processed by third-party processors - we do not store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Free tier access may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time without notice. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for unused periods. Contact us within 7 days of a charge. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to paying subscribers.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. Do not share your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately. Teranga AI is not liable for losses resulting from your failure to secure your account.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will not make changes that materially reduce core functionality without informing you in advance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teranga AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of REM, including loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or where prohibited by mandatory consumer law.

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where possible. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Teranga AI is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including infrastructure outages from third-party providers, natural disasters, acts of government, or internet disruptions.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, or severed, without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Senegal. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Senegal, unless applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

We may update these terms. Material changes include modifications to pricing, data rights, liability, or dispute resolution. We will notify you at least 14 days in advance via in-app notice or email. Continued use of REM after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept the revised terms, you may close your account before they take effect.
